第八十九讲——香港中文大学魏军城教授学术报告

题目：On non-simple blowups of quantized Liouville equations

摘要: In a series of recent works with Lei Zhang and T. D’Aprile, we give a comprehensive study on the most difficult blowup scenarios---non-simple blowups for Liouville equations with quantized sources. Among other things we prove higher order vanishing of the potentials, non-existence and singleness of non-simple blowups.

报告人简介:

魏军城，加拿大皇家学会院士，香港中文大学卓敏数学讲座教授。魏军城1989年毕业于武汉大学数学系，获得理学学士学位，之后经陈省身奖学金计划到美国明尼苏达大学攻读博士学位；1994年获得明尼苏达大学博士学位，其后担任意大利国家高等研究所(IAS/SISSA)博士后研究员；1995年加入香港中文大学数学系，担任助理教授；1999年晋升为副教授；2003年晋升为教授；2009年晋升为讲座教授，2011年获委任为香港中文大学伟伦数学讲座教授；2013年加入加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学，担任加拿大国家一级研究讲座教授(Tier 1 Canada Research Chair)；2024年返回香港中文大学，担任卓敏数学讲座教授、杰出创科学人(Global STEM Scholar).

魏军城教授的主要研究领域是非线性偏微分方程, 在国际数学期刊上发表论文超过500篇，包括《Annals of Mathematics》1篇、《Inventiones Mathematicae》2篇、《SIAM Review》1篇、《Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics》9篇、《Journal of the European Mathematical Society》4篇、《Duke Mathematical Journal》3篇、《Journal of Differential Geometry》2篇、《Memoirs of the American Mathematical Society》2篇、《Geometric and Functional Analysis》2篇、《Journal für die Reine und Angewandte Mathematik》3篇,《American Journal of Mathematics》4篇、《Advances in Mathematics》9篇、 《Communications in Mathematical Physics》4篇以及《Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America》1篇.

魏军城教授获得多个奖项和荣誉: 香港裘槎优秀科研奖(2005), 第五届华人数学家大会晨兴数学银奖(2010年), 教育部自然科学一等奖, 加拿大数学会Jeffery-Williams Prize(2020). 他在2004获国家杰出青年科学基金(B类)资助, 2014年应邀在第27届国际数学家大会上作45分钟报告, 2019年当选加拿大皇家学会院士, 2020年入选SIMONS基金会数学会士.
